Seltos
Seltos uses imported pure high grade elemental sulphur, fulfils the sulphur requirement of soil for longer duration and slowly makes it available to the plants. Seltos helps in maintaining the appropriate PH of the soil, thereby better uptake of other nutrients.
Mode of Action:
Research shows that Seltos converts to sulphate faster than other forms of elemental sulphur. Sulphates are easily absorbed by plant roots. It also helps in maintaining in the appropriate pH of the soil, thereby better uptake of other nutrients.
Recommendation:
Paddy, Wheat, Maize, Cotton , Groundnut, Soybean , Grapes, Banana, Tomato , Onion , Sugarcane crops, etc.
Use:
- Typically sulphur is applied in the spring as a blend with ammonium sulphate as a seed row application.
- Another option is to apply Seltos in the fall or early spring as a surface broadcast application. This method exposes the sulphur particles allowing for maximum degradtion and release during the growing season.
